In September 2017 I won a small grant to produce a play about the challenges and opportunities of big data in medicine and healthcare. In early 2018 playwright Beth Flintoff came to work at the Big Data Institute in Oxford and has been busy writing a script. Local theatre company Reading Between the Lines.
We’re aiming to develop the play further over the course of 2018 so that we can take it to the Edinburgh Science Festival and Edinburgh International Festivals in 2019. For more info see the RBL page on project “Genomes”.
